DESCRIPTION: Many sales professionals who identify as Christians are trying to figure out how to be successful and please God in their job without resorting to unsavory, worldly practices. Although God’s Word supplies us with wisdom that helps clients make win-win decisions in their purchases, rare is the teaching that addresses the art of sales from a sound theological perspective. The Bible has much to say about buying, selling, listening, speaking, and practicing the truth. In fact, the most effective sales approaches derive from biblical principles. This is the first of a two-part series: Part One is designed for believers in Sales and Marketing; Part Two is for anyone desiring to engage in respectful ministry, mission, and evangelism using sales principles that are biblically sound. Both sessions show how to close in strategically on the most helpful deals and give people an “out” until they are ready to buy.
