Louis Kolssak, Management Consultant | Advisory Board Chair

 

Louis is an independent consultant that helps organizations turn ideas into action. Over the past 20 years, he's held a variety of roles in consulting and business management, developing strategies and programs to build new capabilities, launch new products and turn around failing organizations. Louis has a heart to see Christians and Christian organizations flourish, as they better understand their mission and discover their unique, God-given potential. Louis and his family live in Winnetka Illinois where he volunteers as a speech & debate coach and serves as an elder at Winnetka Bible Church.

 

Louis' mission statement is to implement ideas that activate God's elegant design.

Lisa Orimoto, Senior Associate | Vice Chair

Lisa Orimoto, Ph.D., is a mission statement writer, faculty member, consultant, and promoter for Right On Mission in Hawaii and the Pacific Rim.  She is a formally trained scientist whose expertise includes human development, communication, strategic planning, and relational dynamics.

 

Dr. Lisa's education includes a B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of the Pacific, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Studies from the University of Hawaii.  She holds an associate coaching credential (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation and is a certified Birkman consultant.  

 

Lisa is a clinical psychologist and executive coach who co-founded Higher Ground International, a roundtable and coaching organization for Christian business leaders.  She lives in Honolulu with her husband.

Lisa’s mission is to persuade people to dare to develop their creative potential.

Faith Green Timmons, Former Journalist & Pastor

 

Faith Green Timmons has been an ordained pastor since 2000.  Most recently she ministered at a small church at the center of the water crisis in Flint, Michigan.  Trained as a journalist, she spent 15 years in radio and TV broadcasting and earned distinguished awards in two top ten media markets.  

 

Faith earned her bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Wayne State University, her Master of Divinity from Harvard University, and her Master of Sacred Theology from Yale Divinity School.  Currently, she serves as a stay-at-home mom as she recovers from being hit by a drunk driver going 85 mph.  Stay tuned for her forthcoming first book.

 

Faith's mission statement is to prepare people for Christ's judgment.

Arthur Gray, Consultant & Former District Attorney

 

For a decade Arthur (Art) Gray was a Deputy District Attorney with the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office where he mostly worked as a prosecutor in the Compton Hardcore Gang Division.  During that period, he appeared twice on the PBS television series Life and Times.  Today Art is a regular contributor on Fox's Good Day LA morning program.

 

For over two decades, Pastor Art served as a pastor in church ministry.  Later he served as a denominational executive ​for ​urban and multicultural ministries, overseeing over 140 pastoral leaders and churches.​  Now he works as an urban leader, consultant, and adjunct professor.

 

Dr. Gray holds a B​.A. ​in Economics from Loyola Marymount University, a J​.D. ​from Southwestern University School of Law, and a D​.Min.​ from Bakke Graduate University. ​ ​He ​also has Coach Certification Training from Leader Breakthru.

 

​Art and his wife live in southern California.​

Diana Jones, Ministry Leader

 

Diana served on church staff at Menlo Church South City.  She holds an M.A. in Christian Education from Azusa Pacific University and has vast experience as a children's ministry leader and family pastor.  Diana is an encourager.   She brings so much energy into conversations because she regularly refuels herself in prayer.  She and her family live in southern California.

 

Diana's mission is to stoke a fire that lights the way for people.

Brett Sanders, District Representative

 

Brett Sanders lives in Chico, CA where he works as an insurance agent for Farmers Insurance.  Brett serves on the board at the Chico Chamber of Commerce and is the Chair of the Chico Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, one of the largest standing committees in the Chamber.  He is also involved in Team Chico, a collaborative economic development effort for the city.  Brett earned his B.A. in Business Administration and Human Resources at Simpson University.  

 

Brett's mission is to knock down barriers that inhibit people from living fully in their relationship with God.

Myron Steeves, Attorney

 

Myron Steeves, J.D. (Georgetown University Law Center), has been advising local churches and working with nonprofits for over thirty years in the field.  Since 1992 he has worked concurrently in the classroom as a teacher of the law.  For six of those years, he served effectively as Dean of Trinity Law School in Santa Ana, CA.  Currently, he works with the Church Law Center of California and continues as a full professor at Trinity Law School.  Attorney Steeves holds such a wealth of knowledge that he frequently addresses Christian boards and ministry leaders on the integration of faith and law, law and public policy, and legal careers as tools for building Christ's Kingdom.

 

Myron's mission is to grace others with wisdom that glorifies God in society.

Ian Swyers, Director of Operations at Global Partners

 

Ian is a business-savvy pastor who understands how to generate meaningful questions with a Christian mind. Ian served in pastoral ministry at Eagle Church for 8 years before joining the leadership team of Global Partners in 2014. Global Partners gives global focus to the mission of The Wesleyan Church denomination with work in 100+ countries around the world. Ian works to see disciples make disciples and the Church multiply until the transforming presence of Christ is in every community.

 

Ian's mission statement is to synergize with teammates who shoot for the highest goals.

Yeilen Willis, Vice President at Union Rescue Mission

 

Yeilen is a Vice President at Union Rescue Mission.  She's a turnaround leader with people skills and H.R. expertise.  She has a master's degree in Leadership and Organizational Studies from Azusa Pacific University, years of experience at Reasons To Believe, and also a flare for marketing.  Yeilen and her son live in southern California.

Yeilen's mission is to help people relate responsibly to God’s grace.
