Dr. Sumner was trained at Harvard to serve as a global change agent. Sarah is not afraid to be contrarian when the need is great for a genuine course correction. Her track record speaks for itself:  When she served as Dean of A.W. Tozer Theological Seminary at Simpson University, the team she assembled broke three all-time records for highest enrollment and financial success in the school’s 34 history and thereby turned what had been a perpetual drain on the university’s budget into an asset that was poised to erase the university’s long-term debt.  When she chaired the board for a prominent nonprofit ministry that was wracked inside by mission drift, she reconstituted the institutional culture and led the organization into a major turnaround.
