Sarah Sumner (M.B.A., Ph.D., Systematic Theology) is the founder of Right On Mission. As a theologian who has worked full-time as a professor, department chair, dean, mega-church staff leader, national sales representative, and the president of a Christian business, she has vast experience in ministry. Dr. Sumner is a change agent. She is the first woman in U.S. history to serve as dean of a conservative seminary. She is the innovator of Right On Mission culture, of ROM Strategic Futuring, and of her unique process of writing Identity Statements.

Jim Sumner, Business Manager & Operations Assistant
Jim wears multiple hats at Right On Mission. He is the Business Manager, the Operations Assistant, a member of the Speaking Team and the Consulting Team. His expertise includes preaching, administration, children's ministry, facilities management, and analytical thinking.

Pakou Vang, Operations Manager & Executive Assistant
Pakou Vang has been with Right On Mission from the start. She manages the infrastructure and oversees the day-to-day operations and processes. Pakou also helps with the website and entrepreneurial services ROM provides.

Lisa Orimoto, Formation Expert
Lisa Orimoto, (Ph.D. Psychology) brings a deeply pastoral presence to the way she relates to people. At Right On Mission, we call her “Dr. O.” Her professional background spans pharmacy, psychology, church planting, church eldership, strategic planning, graduate-level instruction, and professional coaching, giving her unusual insight into both personal and organizational formation. Besides being an advisor at Right On Mission, she serves seasonally as a Tutor and Formation Guide. Dr.O.is a sage. She leads our Listening Seminars and gently teaches people how to love.

Matthew Sayovitz, Information Technologist
Matthew Sayovitz (M.B.A.) is a godly precisionist who raises the standard of excellence. Matthew is forward-thinking and extremely resourceful. He has broad experience in software development, technological implementation and entrepreneurial ventures. Besides serving seasonally at Right On Mission, Matthew works in the medical field of continuing education.

Mike Garry, Spiritual Director
Mike Garry (M.A., Certified Spiritual Director, Selah Center) serves as Right On Mission's lead Spiritual Director. “Pastor Mike” loves to be with people at the dinner table, delving into meaningful conversations. He is a pastor, preacher, conference keynote, and spiritual developer especially of youth. Off-line he bikes and hikes as an outdoor pastor, and online he offers spiritual direction.

Jackson Painter, Formation Expert
Jackson Painter, Ph.D. (New Testament) is a seasoned Bible scholar, amateur vinologist, and accomplished outdoorsman who delights in guiding tours in Israel, where participants can encounter Scripture in the very places where biblical events occurred. For many years, he served at Simpson University as a professor, department chair, assistant to the seminary dean, and faculty president—where he faithfully provided academic leadership across the institution. At Right On Mission, Dr. Painter serves as our primary Tutor, offering Theological Formation and technical editing.. Working directly with New Testament Greek and Old Testament Hebrew rather than English translations, he is currently writing Bible commentaries. His weekly Substack, In Plain Sight, is highly recommended and freely available to anyone who wants thoughtful, accessible insight into Scripture.
