Course Description:

Have you been sitting on a book or article idea you’ve dreamed of publishing but didn’t know where to start? Well, this is a specialty course designed for Christians who want to learn how to frame their ideas and put them into captivating words.  It's a practicum, a venue for making progress on actually crafting that book or article that you have been longing to produce.  In addition, the contents of the course include: the theology of writing, what makes good writing "good," the top ten priorities of good writing, the creative cycle, creativity killers, and discovering and developing more ideas for what to write.

• How do I practically get started on my writing project?

• What is the best way for me to frame my idea for an article or book?

• What does it mean to think theologically about writing?

• What constitutes good writing?  How can I move from being an average writer to a good writer?
