DESCRIPTION: Broken societies are filled with broken people, many of whom get "triggered" because they suffer from PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder). PTSD has simply been defined as a set of reactions that occur after a person experiences trauma. Trauma disturbs people sometimes for years because the pain of seeing violence or being part of a terrible car wreck or having someone close betray you is so cruel. Our Lord Jesus went through trauma, especially on the cross. That's why Jesus understands our deepest torment. Come join this discussion as we learn from Chaplain Doug how to express God's love with knowledge and sensitivity to those with PTSD.
