The Old Testament Book of Judges in 2 Hours: In this teaching, you will be guided through all 21 chapters of the book of Judges. But instead of slugging through the pages all by yourself, Dr. Sumner will guide you, so that you get the larger concept of what it means to be a "judge" in Israel when things were so chaotic in society that "people did what was right in their own eyes" -- much like in America today. During this session, you will also be shown more vividly, for instance, how part of the "Song of Deborah and Barak" is actually a chant that is fun to memorize. Overall, Judges is a sequence of stories, short biographies of different personalities, people whom God raised up to be leaders. In the end you will be asked: Which judge inspires you the most to trust God?
