DATE & TIME:  Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 10:00 am - 2:30 pm PDT

DESCRIPTION:  The most resilient institution in world history is the church. Ever since its founding, the church has steadily surged as an international network of ordinary people saved by Christ. Despite politics, language challenges, technological changes, economic disasters and natural calamities, the church remains intact, especially during times of persecution. Even so, most Christians are only vaguely aware of how the church developed and why certain subjects took precedence over others that were neglected. Today few believers know when the Bible was first published or when St. Augustine lived or when John Calvin and Martin Luther became Protestants. In this story-based 4-hour mini-course, you will be given a framework through which to understand the context of church history, including unfolding events.
