WEBINAR DATE & TIME - Thursday, August 29th at 4:30 - 6:30pm PDT
TOPIC - God Never Hurries: A Theology of Time
DESCRIPTION - Is it a good use of time to understand the nature of Time? What is Time? Is time money or is time a gift? Does time heal? In this webinar we will take time (if time is something we can "take") to consider timely questions about why people live in such a hurry. If you are interested in eliminating hurry from your life and stewarding your life in preparation for eternity, then come to this introductory-level, deep theological discussion.
BIOGRAPHY - Dr. Sumner holds a Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and an MBA from Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, CA. She was trained as a Global Change Agent in the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
Sarah Sumner is the first woman to have graduated with a Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and the only woman theologian in the United States to have served as dean of a conservative evangelical seminary. Within the first sixteen months under her leadership, A.W. Tozer Theological Seminary broke three all-time records in 34 years.
She has four published books including Men and Women in the Church: Building Consensus on Christian Leadership (IVP, 2003; now in its 12th printing), Leadership Above the Line (Tyndale, 2006), Just How Married Do You Want To Be? (IVP, 2008) and Angry Like Jesus: Using His Example To Spark Your Moral Courage (Fortress, 2015).
On the side, she is an adjunct professor at Trinity Law School and an aerobics instructor at Shasta Athletic Club. She enjoys jogging, swimming, reading, writing old fashioned letters, and being with friends of all ages.
