DESCRIPTION:

One of the most intriguing commandments in Scripture is Jesus’ admonition, “Be careful how you listen” (Luke 8:18). Can you imagine what Jesus was like when He was listening? How satisfying do you think it was for people to share their thoughts and feelings with Him? Scholarly research shows that 70% of the job for successful CEOs is effective listening. Many Christian leaders are taught how to be good speakers, but very few are trained to be excellent listeners. This course is a practicum on listening in which students are taught to think theologically about listening.
