Program Description:
The Vocational Certificate in Professional Writing is a college-level program that prepares students to develop a writing career.  Students are taught how to write both creatively and professionally, so as to offer the uniqueness of their personal style and yet accommodate the needs of the market. Students culminate their program by producing an essay or article or book or book proposal ready for submission to a publisher.

  • Managing editor

  • Copy editor

  • Staff worker for a media group or magazine

  • Development writer

  • Web writer

  • Marketing writer

  • Speech writer
